Hey, I’m Susan.
I’m an Aussie mum of 3 young boys who is passionate about real food and low-tox living.
When it comes to food I believe in getting back to basics - shopping, cooking and eating like our grandmothers did (with real ingredients, no waste, no fuss and on a budget).
If you’re looking to eat more real, whole foods and get rid of the processed stuff you’re in the right place.
I have been sharing our family’s journey to a wholefoods way of eating since 2008 along with tips for shopping, meal planning and getting fussy kids to eat what you’ve made (still not 100% successfully but as with everything else I’m aiming for progress not perfection!).
In 2014 I decided to take my interests in food and natural health a step further and enrolled to study Naturopathy. Balancing family, kids, study and staying healthy is my biggest challenge at the moment and you’ll hear all about that too, especially on my Facebook page.
I am obsessed with essential oils and in 2016 became a Wellness Advocate with Doterra to share my love of these amazing products. You can read more about that here.
I’m addicted to reading food blogs and always have a stack of cookbooks from the library on my bedside table. I love my Thermomix too and it’s been invaluable to our wholefoods adventure over the past few years.
To keep up with all my news and recipes, and for access to all the free printables I create, you can join My Wholefood Family.
Thanks so much for being here!
